Gear testing requests

We test products from manufacturers, but we don't promise good reviews. If your gear holds up, we say so. If it falls apart, we say that too. Send us a sample and we'll put it through the same protocol as everything else.

How we pay the bills

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you buy through them, we get a small commission. The price stays the same for you. That money pays for replacement gear when things break during testing, which happens more often than you'd think.

Affiliate relationships don't change what we write. A harness that falls apart at mile eight gets called out whether we earn commissions on it or not, because our readers trust us to tell them what actually works and what's going to fail them on the trail.
